GHC

Group Health Cooperative

GHC is a non-profit, member-owned cooperative and HMO that provides both health insurance and medical services, including primary and specialty care.

GPR

GWAAR

Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources, Inc.

A Wisconsin based nonprofit agency committed to supporting the successful delivery of aging programs and services.

Gross Income

A household or individual’s income before taxes are deducted. See also AGI and MAGI.

Guardian

A person who is legally responsible for someone else. For example, the parent of a minor child is typically their guardian. This also occurs after a court process for adults who are unable to manage their own affairs.
